„Alphabet Soup”
Ingredients: 1 designer, 1 camera, 1 video camera, 175 magnetic letters/ signs, topic of choice, rea of choice, magnetic wall, time
Preparation: Think over the topic of choice (e.g. public design) from different angles. Choose a suitable area for motives and places. Decide what, how and where to visualize and comment things. Place the magnetic letters / signs and photograph or film them – use different techniques like stop-motion or fast motion. Mix the photo- and film material, edit, compose and design it. Serve the finished “alphabet soup” on a huge monitor. Install a magnetic wall for the viewers, to give them the possibility to become active and create content of their own.
Important on preparation and consumption: Attention to the environment, love for details and fun for the medium.
