Anne Pöhlmann
Computer Game, 2006
sequence of black and white Prints, 39,7 cm x 52,0 cm, number variable
Housing estates, prefabricated high-rises, pedestrian underpasses, public squares – in her photographs and videos, Anne Pöhlmann engages with architectural situations in their urban context. She is mostly interested in the mutual relations between architecture and society, with a particular focus on the question whether architecture is not just the expression of a society, but also its image, thus constituting it.
