Thorsten Schneider’s postminimalist art convinces with the consistency and rigour with which it challenges and enhances one of the most important art movements of the twentieth century. (...) Thus he installs various large products of IKEA as objects of minimal art in his apartment, not without confronting them with a certain hominess that manifests itself in a collection box named ‘Kassett’ or a shelf of the system ‘Gorm’ that contains private utensils. (...) Similar to IKEA ist okay, the work group Projekt tears open the horizon of minimal art – literally.
